ROUNDTABLE SESSIONS 7/21-23
Open to the general public with mainly film students and professionals in attendance. Lectures on specific themes will be given daily, followed by debates encouraging active public participation. The roundtable sessions will take place in the Main Hall (Sala Principal) of the Castro Alves Theater with a capacity for 1,500 participants. Registration will open in May. [+]
PRODUIRE AU SUD/SALVADOR WORKSHOP 07/21-24
The International Film and Audiovisual Seminar, in conjunction with the Festival des 3 Continents de Nantes (France), will conduct a workshop to promote the development of feature-length Brazilian films directed at international film markets. A joint French-Brazilian commission will select six projects to be presented at the Produire au Sud/Salvador Workshop. [+]
CONFERENCE OF FILM AND TELEVISION PRODUCERS AND DISTRIBUTORS 07/25-26
Now in its 3rd edition, this Conference features producers and distributors from several countries as participants, as well as representatives from leading international audiovisual institutions. Participants will present audiovisual projects in various phases of production in an effort to freely exchange ideas with other participants and also foster new business opportunities.[+]

The International Film Screening is dedicated to cinema the world over, featuring the presence of the filmmakers themselves on the days their films will be shown for the first time ever in Brazil. This event will take place daily in the Main Hall (Sala Principal) of the Castro Alves Theater. Also taking place at this same location is the Short Film Screening, a competition that aims to encourage the production of short films in Brazil. See the program schedule here.
The Retrospective Screening will pay tribute to one icon in Brazilian cinema: maestro Joaquim Pedro de Andrade, with exhibitions of his greatest works. Retrospective screenings will be shown in the Sala do Coro hall in the Castro Alves Theater.See the program schedule here.
